Fed up after spending hard-earned cash on midnight munchies? Excited to try out new products that you’ve never tried? At first glance, TryProducts appears to be a solution to your problem. TryProducts is a company that provides a free sample of products in exchange for a review. Read on to see how it works and if it’s a good fit for you!

Before you get too deep in this review, note that TryProducts is only available for US residents.

TryProducts Overview

TryProducts is a subsidiary of Daily Goodie Box, which I previously praised as one of the top organizations offering people the chance to sample products free of charge (see our Daily Goodie Box Review). While TryProducts is a newcomer to the freebie box scene, it’s backed by an established company in the space., so it’s worth trying out.

The variety of free stuff you can get from TryProducts is comparable to other freebie box companies. What makes TryProducts stand out is the option to receive full-sized products.

How TryProducts Works

Signup Process

Getting signed up with TryProducts is easy! To start just provide your full name and email. Once you click sign up you’ll receive an email for you to verify your account. Once you click your verify link, you’ll be asked for a little bit more information.

See in the image on the left that you’ll need to provide your date of birth, gender, phone number and address.

Compared to other freebie box companies I’ve signed up with, this is the easiest signup process I’ve come across! You’ll be done in around a minute.

Once you’ve completed your profile info, you’ll be asked questions like “Do you enjoy trying new beauty products?” There are around 10 of these kinds of questions to get through. Keep in mind that regardless of what your answer is, you’ll be presented with an affiliated review or service site. If all you’re interested in is the free sample box, just select no thanks for all of these offers. However, there may be some websites that are interesting to you, so be sure to check out what they are before you cruise by.

Once you’re done with those questions, you’ve completed your signup! Now all that’s left to do is wait to see if you qualify to receive a sample box. According to their website, “to increase your chances of getting selected for free products?
Visit our Facebook page. We giveaway 10-500 FREE products on EVERY post we do, EVERY day!”

I’m not sure the frequency that sample boxes are sent out, or what the protocol for selecting recipeints is but if you want to maximize your chances, head over to Facebook!

What you can get

The types of products you’ll be receiving are limited to a few categories. Expect some food, beauty products or supplements. While TryProducts is partnered with over 300 brands, it looks like all of them fall into those categories.

Leaving your review

If you’re selected to receive a box, all you’ll need to do is leave feedback on what you thought about each product.

Is It a Scam?

It’s safe to say that Try Products is legitimate. In particular, user evaluations on the online platform are positive, with many users sharing that they’ve received all sorts of free trial products through these giveaways. A few users even claim to receive confirmation codes within a few days of signing up.

The Pros

  • Receive 100% free full-size sample products.
  • Easy signup process.
  • Lots of products to try (limited to a few categories).

The Cons

  • Not guaranteed to be sent a sample box.
  • Limited to only a few product categories.
  • You’re going to be spending a few minutes answering feedback questions about the product! Woo hoo!
